The Home Buying Process - Step Two
You have a Mortgage Lender and a Realtor but what's next? Let's start thinking timeline.
Do you have a house that we need to list for sale? Does it need any updates or repairs done before? Do you need to give your landlord notice? Do you have your down payment saved up?
During this time you will also be working with the Lender on which loan program is best for you and start getting an idea of what your interest rate, down payment, and closing costs will look like.
Once we have that game plan your Lender will qualify you and send over a pre approval. This will have the amount you are qualified for on it which helps me as your Realtor set your search up and provide you with listings.
During this time you are also going to want to start really thinking about your must haves in a home. Are there any absolute deal breakers your Realtor should know about?
